Cloud Appreciation Brochures
The objective of this project was to design a brochure that explores the concept of cloud appreciation. The brochure is structured around four key sections: General Information, Fun Facts, Reasons to Appreciate Clouds, and How to Appreciate Clouds. To distinguish the brochure from more conventional treatments of the topic, I employed a bold design approach to capture attention and engage readers with the subject of clouds. Reflecting the horizontal nature of clouds, the layout presents each section’s content in a horizontal format, enhancing visual appeal and reinforcing the theme.

Process and Insights
For this project, I conducted comprehensive research on various types of clouds and their significance to our environment. I also explored the mission of the Cloud Appreciation Society and their contributions to cloud awareness. My goal is to effectively communicate the importance of clouds, highlighting that they represent more than just visually appealing phenomena.

Pictogram Recipe
Developed a recipe for a vegetable omelette using only pictograms, presenting a step-by-step process without numerical measurements. By utilizing pictograms, which serve as a universal visual language, the recipe is designed to be easily understandable across different cultures and linguistic backgrounds.

Process and Insights
Mind mapping was a crucial component of this project, facilitating the visual exploration of an object from multiple perspectives. This approach ensured a thorough and consistent stylistic representation throughout the design process.

A Deaf Adult Living In Two Worlds Magazine
Developed an 8-page biography magazine covering topics such as my personal journey with hearing loss, the transformative experience of regaining hearing, adjustments to my personality in a hearing world, my connection to RIT, the history of cochlear implants, and a comparison between hearing aids and cochlear implants. This project involved mastering key aspects of job planning, implementation strategies, and decision-making processes within both print and e-media production workflows. The final deliverables included both reader and printer spreads.
